Engineering client has an IMMEDIATE NEED for a Project Engineering Manager with 10-20+ years of experience working on large power plant EPC projects. You need a BS degree in Engineering. A PE license would be considered a big plus. The ideal candidate will have experience working for an A/E or Design Build firm. You will initiate, evaluate and approve technical standards for engineering projects for power plants. You will provide oversight for civil, controls, electrical and systems engineering work related to design, and construction on major construction projects. This is a corporate office position that requires 25% travel to the project sites to provide field operation support. You will review, approve or recommend approval of purchase requisition, bid analysis and suppliers of major engineering equipment. You need a solid background in construction management, construction safety, & labor relations. You should have experience in design review and start-up of power plant equipment. You should also have experience in contracting and contract negotiations. A PMP certification would be considered a plus. Salary listed on web is the base pay + bonus. Great pay, 20% bonus potential, benefits, 401k and relocation package available.

• How many years of experience do you have as an Project Engineering Manager, Technical Project Manager or Sr. Project Engineer supporting large power plant EPC projects?

• Explain your experience with contracting and contract negotiations related to EPC projects.

• How much experience do you have working for an A&E or Design Build firm?

• Do you have experience providing oversight for civil, controls, electrical and systems engineering work related to design, and construction on major construction projects? Explain.

• What is your current base and total comp? What is your desired base and total comp? (please keep in mind the salary listed is a total comp range- base + bonus)
