A global leading manufacturer that serves the oil & gas, power, and chemical industries has an immediate need for 3 CNC PROGRAMMERS for direct hire positions just north of Frederick, Maryland. Requires 3+ years manufacturing experience in CNC (computerized numerical control) programming using MasterCAM and EdgeCAM. The ideal candidate will be able to program 5 axis mills, multi-axis mill turns, grinders, and lathes.The basic function will be responsible for CNC programming, set-up, and machining. Position develops programs for fabricating parts on numerically controlled machine tools, and working from designs and specifications, determines machining requirements and prepares a mathematical definition of the part to be produced. Determines the proper speeds, feeds and types of cutters, taking into consideration the materials to be used and machine characteristics.
