Large mining project in South East Asia are looking to developed their on site team and currently have an opportunity for Senior Project Controls Engineers.This role will be working for a Brisbane based EPCM consultancy that are looking be mobilised by early June.

You will be expected to be proactive, self-starter with highly developed communications and analytical skills. Typical activities include Project control, including planning/scheduling, man-hour control and cost control.You will be involved in coordinating and influencing forward planning and scheduling of costs and resources within time and budget constraints in line with the project.You must be able to develop and maintain strong effective working relationships within the project and site teams.You will have significant experience in project controls along with project engineering and management experience in minerals processing, mining / heavy industry or construction.

Typically, a qualified graduate in a relevant discipline with five or more year's relevant experience or more than eight years experience in a project control environment. Proven track record as a Planning or Cost Engineer. Senior Project Controls Engineers should be numerate and computer literate, highly competent in the use of Microsoft Excel, planning software such as Primavera and utilising reporting databases.This is a long term contract offering great rewards for the right candidate.
