Our client is one of the world?s foremost engineering consultancies specializing in the hydrocarbon and energy industry. Their services cover 3 main areas of development planning, project assurance and asset optimization. They currently have an opportunity for a Head Process Engineering Consultant specialising in Flow Assurance to join their team based in Perth, Western Australia. The successful applicant will:
* Manage flow assurance related engineering studies for the development of subsea production systems during all stages of development
* Interface with clients to define, plan and execute engineering studies
* Plan flow assurance engineering activities within the overall project schedule, ensuring all activities and deliverables are identified
* Monitor the budget and schedule for the Flow Assurance discipline in order to ensure targets are met
* Support other project disciplines: Project Manager, pipeline, risers, umbilicals, topsides, installation, controls, subsea and field developmentTo be successful in your application, you will have the following:
* Bachelor Degree in either Mechanical, Petroleum or Chemical Engineering (MSc Degree would be advantageous)
* Approximately 15 years post-graduate experience, with a minimum of 6 years in Flow Assurance
* Experience in flow assurance software (PIPESIM, OLGA, PVTSim, HYSYS, Aspen) or equivalent
* Broad experience across a variety of field developments and projects in the oil & gas industry, with a strong focus on conceptual design / FEED (Essential)
* Ability to write professional technical reports and prepare effective presentations (essential)
