This expanding and highly reputable mid size multi-disciplinary Consulting Engineering Group has earned an enviable reputation for their Design and EPCM capabilities across Australia. As a result of their significant success in delivering consulting services to industry they now offer an outstanding career opportunity to an experienced Industry Sector Leader for their Building Engineering Division in Sydney
Their clients are among the market leaders in Health, Education, Tourism, Commercial, Residential, Recreational, Defence and Retail market sectors.

For this senior executive role you need to have an established network of business contacts within the building/construction market sector (property developers, architects, builders and local councils etc.). You should have the ability to influence the direction of the group?s future work, to produce marketing strategies and project concept proposals and generally lead and guide the future design engineering solutions of the business. It is important that you have a high level of credibility as someone who delivers on promises.

This position is a senior staff role based in Sydney and as such is directly influential on the future growth, direction and profitability of the Group?s core business. Therefore it is anticipated that you will have at least 10 years post graduate experience in Australia (IEAust recognized Engineering degree mandatory) working with either a leading building engineering consultancy or a builder/contractor, have strong design engineering skills, up to date knowledge and application of Australian Building Design Codes and Standards and the ability to influence Boards and Senior Management.
