If you are an Exploration Geologist keen to get their foot in the door with a successful gold mining company, this is the right career move for you. You will be based in Perth, and fly in, fly out to their Kalgoorlie minesite. You will work an 8 days on, 6 days off roster.

You will be reporting to the Senior Geologist, and your responsibilities will include:

Planning and implementation of exploration programs

Supervising and mentoring project geologists

Developing exploration programs

Developing geological models for further exploration

Drilling supervision, sampling, geological mapping and reporting

Exploration involving mapping and sampling

You will need a tertiary degree in Geology, as well as two years experience in a similar role. You must know how to use computer programs such as Surpac, Micromine, MapInfo, or similar.

Salaries will be commensurate with experience and will be in the range of $70k - $95k + benefits. Salaries outside this range will be considered for people with exceptional skills.
