As the Development Superintendent you will be responsible for encouraging safe work practices and working within budgets. You will develop a strong team and strategies to ensure maintenance and production targets are achieved for the development area. Reporting to the Development Manager you will be responsible to ensure production from the areas of technical and management perspective are met and exceeded.

Key Responsibilities include:

Achieving Production and Financial targets.
Compliance to safety and environmental standards and legislation
Provide leadership to ensure employees achieve excellence in safety and health initiatives.
Implement the mines business plan for the Development area
Be an effective member of the mines leadership team
Skills / Qualifications and Experience:
Qualifications in chemical or mechanical engineering combined with supervisory experience in the same discipline
Proven planning and organisational skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
