This major player in the infrastructure, construction, roadworks and aggregate field now has an opportunity for you! They are able to provide their clients with innovative, cost effective solutions for their projects and as part of this strategy, they operate a number of quarries throughout Australia and New Zealand.

Located between Brisbane and the Gold Coast, their Queensland laboratory now has the opportunity for an experienced technician who is ready to take on a new and exciting challenge.

Reporting to the Laboratory Manager, you will be responsible for aggregate, asphalt and soil sampling and testing for internal and external customers. In addition, you will perform dust and water testing, regularly update the Quality Manual, particularly SOPs. The right candidate will have start in a full time contract role with further permanent opportunities.

As the successful person in this role, you MUST have demonstrated laboratory experience. Experience in an industrial lab or in the asphalt, quarry or construction materials industry would be an advantage. In addition, you will possess a Diploma in Laboratory Techniques or BSc along with good communication and a can do attitude.
