A new and exciting opportunity has arisen with a Perth CBD based firm in their Mechanical Piping division for a Design Drafter. The company has gone through dramatic expansion in recent years and is looking to further its expansion across all areas. Current projects cover concentrators, materials handling, minerals processing, pumping, port, wharf, and load-out facilities.

They are seeking an experienced piping designer / drafter to join the team, working on wet plant projects. You will liaise with Engineers, and be involved in schemes from early design and calculations, through to detailing and construction drawings.

Ideally you will have working experience of SmartPlant, PDS or PDMS and have experience within the mining and resources sector. Previous projects in the Coal or Iron Ore sectors would be highly desirable but is not essential. Also, any experience with pumping calculations and friction loss will be very highly regarded.
