IMMEDIATE NEED!!! Client located near Boston, MA, has an immediate need for a Director of Sales and Marketing. In this role you will lead and motivate a sales force for a business unit that designs and manufactures equipment and systems for military and commercial aerospace customers. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years of sales experience within the aerospace industry, three or more years of marketing experience, and at least two years of managing a sales force. The sales organization will consist of field sales, inside sales, representatives, and a contracts group. An engineering or technical background is a plus. This position requires a high-energy individual who is capable of wearing many hats, such as managing the sales team, managing relationships with sales representatives, training and employee development, and developing and executing sales strategies. This is a high-visibility position with a company that has aggressive growth plans for the near future. Candidates local to the New England area are preferred. A benefits package, bonus plan, company car and relocation assistance are available.
