GREAT OPPORTUNITY!!! An international company is seeking a Fire Protection Engineer for its Massachusetts office. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years experience in fire protection engineering project work, National Electrical Code (NEC), and basic knowledge of National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) policies, codes, and procedures. A Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering and be within one year of designation as an Engineer in Training (EIT) is required. A Masters degree in an Engineering discipline is preferred. Applicant must have experience in life safety and building code criteria, NFPA codes and standards related to the built environment, and knowledge of the SFPE Handbook of Fire Protection Engineering. Candidate must have ability to develop PowerPoint presentations, and work experience with EXCEL, Word, and various computing platforms and software. Applicant must be willing to travel up to 40 percent of company work time. This position is responsible for assisting staff support and advisory services with a broad spectrum of fire protection, building design and construction provisions, technical reports and inquires, act as external liaison, and plans, monitors, maintains, and prepares budgets for various departments. Salary is commensurate with experience. Company offers a benefit package. Relocation is available for the right candidate!!!
