Career opportunity with this global OEM provider. Must be willing to relocate to central IL. Travel is less than 25%. Two levels available: 2 - 7 years experience is $60K to $90K. 7+ years experience is $90 to $125K. Excellent benefits and relocation assistance available. Potential bonus opportunities. Work with a team engaged in R&D related to advanced drivetrains for product lines. Must have BSME or related Technical degree. Must have proven knowledge and experience with following: mechanical designs for rotating components, mechanical analysis, sold modeling using ProE. Working with housing and enclosures for rotating components and electro mechanical packaging of electrical equipment. The following experience is a plus: vibration and dynamic analysis, finite element analysis, any 6 sigma or related quality processes, life cycle product introduction.
Questions you will be asked:

• Can you relocate to central IL ? Do you have a BSEE ?

• How much related experience do you have 2 - 7 or 7+ ? Do you understand the salary range offered based on related experience ?

• Have you worked with mechanical design for automotive, rail or heavy machinery drivetrain systems ?

• How much experience do you have with Pro Engineer ? Explain your design of rotating components and any mechanical analysis ?

• Any of the following: vibration and dynamic analysis, finite element analysis, 6 sigma or related quality processes, life cycle product introduction?
