Location: Houston, TX, USA
Immediate Need in Houston Texas for an Instrumentation Engineers. A minimum of 5 years experience and a BS in Electrical Engineering or related field is required. Responsibilities include oil and gas facility controls design, including metering, leak detection, remote valve operation, fiber-optic, and radio/satellite data transmissions systems. A good candidate will have experience with SCADA architecture design, control philosophy development for oil and gas pipeline facilities. You will have to develop detailed engineering designs of SCADA systems including both PLC and DCS and review drawings. Knowledge of network components including bridges, switches, and other network elements is needed. Knowledge of vendors, cost factors, and delivery for general schedule development is needed. Experience with satellite, microwave, wire, and fiber communication systems is needed. Great Salary and Benefits. Will Hire ASAP! Local candidates only need apply.
