A manufacturer near Seattle, WA is in search of a Manufacturing Unit Manager. This position will be responsible for production operations and the successful implementation and execution of production plans. Candidates will also be responsible for increasing manufacturing profitability, efficiency, and productivity through technology, training and lean processes. Daily activities include: overseeing and coordinating the operation and flow of Production to ensure customer needs are met; identifying equipment needs; and establishing facility requirements to ensure Production goals are met. This is a management role, so candidates need to have at least 6 years of management experience to be considered. Applicants must have a Bachelor's Degree in Business or a BS Industrial Engineering Degree with at least 8 years electronics or cable manufacturing experience in a lean environment. You must also have experience working in AS9100 and SOX compliant manufacturing companies, and proven success in setting up lean manufacturing environment. Salary commensurate with experience.
