Are you a Globetrekker who loves to work and travel nationally and abroad? Wisconsin manufacturer seeks a skilled Applications Specialist. Relocation Available! The selected Applications Specialist is responsible for going to customer facilities and doing the final part runoff before the customer accepts the machine sold. These are large scale machines, the size of semi trucks, used to produce various metal parts such as parts for tractors or propellers for helicopters and planes. Candidates MUST HAVE: An Associates Degree in Manufacturing Technology (or a related field) or a related Journey Person card; Three to five years of experience in a related field; Machinist Background (including CNC) programming; Willing to travel domestically and internationally up to 80%; Knowledge of CNC ( Siemens and Fanuc); Good customer service skills. RESPONSIBILITIES: Conducts customer part run-offs (first part or metal cutting) at the customer facility; Trains customers and operators at the customer facility; Provides input into to sales team for proposal development which includes: part processing recommendations, time studies and part run-off cost estimates; Conducts manufacturing and CNC support including: horsepower cuts, composite cutting tests and finish machining of T-Slots, Pallet Tops, etc.; Designs and manages exhibit demonstrations twice a year at Machine Tool shows, demonstrating cutting machines and runoffs.
