A worldwide leader in the design, engineering, and manufacturing of custom packaging equipment located in Eastern Iowa has an IMMEDIATE NEED for an Electrical Engineer. The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for hardware and software design principles to provide efficient, reliable machine controls. Exercises full product or project responsibility to department supervisor. Directs construction of electrical prototypes and existing parts and assemblies. Provides hardware and software engineering support to the field after equipment sale. Candidates need a BSEE, with P.E. certification desired. May accept a two-year technical degree with extensive electrical product design experience. Candidates should be familiar with NFPA 79 and IEC 60204-1 specifications and have PLC and HMI programming experience. The position comes with a competitive salary, full benefits, 401K and relocation assistance for qualified candidates. Questions you will be asked:

• Describe your previous electrical design experience. Any specific equipment manufacturing experience?

• List your educational background including degrees, certifications or additional applicable training.

• Describe your PLC and HMI programming experience.

• Are you familiar with NFPA 79 and IEC 60204-1 specifications? Where did you acquire this experience?

• Do you live in the Eastern Iowa area? If not are you willing to relocate there to work?
