Quality Assurance Engineer - Quality/Engineer/Medical

Client in the medical device industry is seeking local candidates for a Quality Engineering position. This is a contract to perm opportunity. It is required for the candidate to have a BS in Engineering and 4+ years medical device quality assurance. The client requires candidate to have a working understanding of FDA Quality System regulations, EU Active Implantable and Medical Device Directives, and ISO 13485 principles. General knowledge of IEC 60601 medical device safety standards and IEEE software quality standards is preferred.
Questions you will be asked:

• Please describe your experience working in the medical device industry.

• Do you have experience with medical device safety standards?

• Are you familiar with ISO 13485 principles?

• Are you knowledgeable in FDA Quality System regulations?

• Do you have experience in design control?
