Contracts Engineer

CCL has been requested by a leading Oil & Gas Energy company to provide a Contracts Engineer. One year renewable contract based initially in London and then relocation to FEED office. May be required to work at other company facilities as required. Excellent daily rates / living allowance if applicable.
Must be educated to tertiary level. CIPS type qualification preferred along with previous experience working in FSU / Kazakhstan. Fair knowledge and familiarity with international contractual format. Good negotiation skills. Team player who will have frequent interaction with other disciplines and third parties. Ability to work effectively with people from multiple cultures and backgrounds. High level of professional and personal integrity with ability to maintain confidential information while working under time constraints. Good fluency in written and spoken English, particularly for contract terminology. Good degree of computer literacy in Microsoft Office programmes. Must be eligible to live and work in the EU.
Minimum 2/4 years’ contracts experience in the up-stream process and oil & gas projects or 2 years’ contracts experience in the up-stream process and oil & gas projects, of which at least 2 years on medium / high complexity contracts. Will process requisitions for materials and services to meet cost, quantity and quality requirements. Preparation / evaluation tender packages. Conducting commercial evaluations / finalizing contractual terms and conditions to award contracts for goods and services of medium value and complexity. Management all aspects of contracting activities without close supervision and control. Must demonstrate a personal commitment to HSE by abiding by RoK’s Statutory HSE Regulations and including company’s Corporate HSE Policy in all Contracts, as applicable.
