CCL has been requested by a leading Oil & Gas Energy company to provide a Planning Reporting Engineer to provide a comprehensive Project Planning service to Client in monitoring and controlling the performance of the EPFC Contractor for the Project, reporting to Project Services / Site Coordinator. After initial period in London, position will be based in Paris or Singapore at contractor locations during project engineering / fabrication phases, and then based at construction site in Kazakhstan during fabrication, installation and commissioning phases. Contract duration of 1 year (renewable). Excellent daily rates / living allowances.
Engineering or technical degree. Familiarity with both Project and Corporate planning procedures. Extensive knowledge of computer based planning tools e.g. MS Project & Primavera P3E, P3, MS Office. Familiarity with planning and cost probabilistic and associated software, operating aspects of offshore operations and onshore installations. Ability to assist in management reviews of Development Plans. Familiarity with Contract Control and Reporting requirements. Fluent in both written and spoken English.
5 years planning, 10 years oil and gas experience. Experience of working with major contractors in Design, Procurement, Construction and Commissioning of Onshore and Offshore Facilities, working directly or indirectly for a Major Oil Company, preparing and executing planning control procedures for both cost and planning. Ensure that planning performed by the Contractor completes the full scope of work. Interface with Planning Group. Provide detailed and summary plans, as required, clearly indicating all logical links, interfaces with other areas of the project and identifying the critical path. Provide weekly and monthly report providing details of the progress achieved, identifying any delays and recommendations for corrective actions as necessary. Ensure that plans and planning documentation are compliant with Planning methodologies and procedures. Ensure adequate QA / QC is carried out on all plans.
