Well established and continually growing company in the Washington D.C. area seeks Junior Mechanical Engineer. The ideal candidate will have some experience in the design of HVAC for commercial buildings. Types of projects include full service hotels, condominiums, spec office buildings, tenant up-fits, and garden style apartments. A candidate with any combination of design experience in 4-pipe hydronic, watersource heat pumps, packaged RTU's and split system DX will be considered. Strong AutoCAD experience is a must. Must also have a 4 year engineering degree. Experience in full service hotel design is a HUGE plus! Experience with Trane Trace load software is also a plus. Candidates responsibilities include preparing contract drawings and specifications, submittal reviews, site reviews and RFI responses.
