Immediate Need in Iowa for a Safety Engineers. Must have a minimum of 5 years chemical manufacturing experience with a BS in Safety or Industrial Engineering. Must have a background in chemical manufacturing or chemical process engineering to be considered. Responsibilities include providing the implementation and execution of safety programs integral to the engineering aspects of plant projects and/or design/process modifications. You will have to monitor and interpret regulatory standards, for example OSHA, RMP, NFPA, DOT. You should be familiar with OSHA regulations, for example NFPA, ASHRAE, AND ASME. You will work to champion a injury free workplace by developing safe work practices, procedures, and training that keeps plant employees safe. You will have to lead process hazard analysis reviews and documentation. CSP is preferred.
