Construction Superintendent - Piping/Mechanical/Superintendent

Immediate need in the Houston, TX area near Pasadena for 4 Piping Superintendents. There will be a good opportunity for many hours over next 3 months for the close out an industrial process plant project with heavy piping work.. Local candidates are encouraged to apply but per diem is offered for candidates out of town. Must have proven general industrial construction superintendent expertise. Previous work with heavy process and mechanical work is also needed. Accessing and verifying in place work, determining that it is acceptable and clearly identifying remaining needed work. Insure proper priorities are assigned, discussed, and clearly identified and clearly communicated to the property parties so that it can be determined that job progress is staying on track. This position will report directly to the project manager. Working with control of the site based project construction and planning activities involving but not limited to following: Contact with state and local building inspectors ensuring compliance in all aspect of permitting and inspection process, planning and arrangement of site layout, scheduling all project activities, day to day control of all subcontractors to ensure schedule is maintained, evaluation of subcontractors performance and quality control of subcontractors work, maintain required quality inspections and subsequent reports. Must have PC literacy.

• What type of piping heavy industrial construction projects have you worked on? How do you control day to day activities of all subcontractors to ensure schedule is maintained ?

• Where do you currently live? When are you available to start? (positions are immediately available)

• What did you make on your last similar project? What rate would you accept for this position?
