Contracts Manager - Contracts/Compressor/Project Manager

Fast growing company is looking for a Contract Manager with prior Project Management experience to lead a team of project managers and document controllers. The Contract Manager will support the project managers from purchase order, through product definition and finally through manufacturing of complex compressor packages. Project teams will range from 4 to 8 people depending on the scope of the project. Specific job duties will include: reviewing customer purchase orders to ensure technical accuracy and scope and commercial terms, distributing work load among the team as new orders are received, and coordinating with the operations team during the manufacturing, assembly and test of the compressor products. Additionally you will be tasked with creating a culture of quality and continuous improvement, ensuring that orders progress in a timely matter paying particular attention to project priorities and scheduling, and defining project manager roles and holding those managers accountable for scope, schedule and costs. Requires effective communication skills as you will need to coordinate scheduling of critical engineering, testing and assembly resources. You will be working directly with customers as required until projects are complete. A Bachelors degree in a technical field is required with an Advance degree in Management or a technical field as a plus. PMI training or certification are also a plus. Experience with the manufacture of a complex product and projects in the $1 - 10M range is required.
