EXCITING OPPORTUNITY in Northern Alberta Canada for an Process Control Engineer with a major integrated producer and marketer of high quality linerboard and kraft paper. Candidate must have a degree in Electrical or Chemical Engineering, plus Eligibility for professional registration in Alberta Canada, and excellent interpersonal and organizational skills. Candidates must have required documentation permitted to work in Canada. Reporting to the Engineering Superintendent, the Process Control Engineers primary role will be project management and detail design for mill capital projects. The successful candidate will work with several mill area teams, providing electrical and instrumentation assistance to production, maintenance and project engineering personnel and all aspects of mill electrical engineering, including power distribution. Must have experience with PLC and DCS controls, motor controls, high and medium voltage power distribution and digitally controlled drives. Experience with Emerson Delta V and ABB Taylor MOD 300 Systems ia a BIG PLUS. Consideration will be given to individuals with a strong background in E/I engineering in an industrial environment.
