Energy client is looking to hire an Electrical Systems/Distribution Engineer with 2-5+ years of engineering reliability & system protection experience related to electrical distribution, substation & transmission systems. You need a BSEE or MSEE degree. You will be expected to perform root cause analysis to resolve regulatory agencies and customer inquiries, which may be associated with outages and other reliability issues. You will be expected to conduct field investigations and implement corrective measures. You need to be proficient with engineering analysis software to model distribution systems, calculate voltage drops and fault currents of circuits. You will be expected to investigate system outages and disturbances to determine root cause and issue recommendations for corrective action. You will also work closely with other departments to perform problem analysis. Questions you will be asked:

• Do you have 2+ years of experience as an Electrical Engineer, Reliability Engineer, or Systems Engineer working on reliability & system protection areas related to electrical distribution, substation & transmission systems?

• Do you have a BSEE or MSEE degree?

• Detail your experience performing root cause analysis to resolve problems with outages and other reliability issues.

• How much experience do you have with using an engineering analysis software tool to model distribution systems, calculate voltage drops and fault currents of circuits? Explain.

• What is your current base salary and total comp? What is your desired base salary and total comp?
