Need VISUAL BASIC PROGRAMMER ANALYST for a VERY LONG TERM CONTRACT position in Houston, TX. Requires 3 to 5+ years experience in building 3D symbols using Visual Basic language and ability to maintain database and SQL servers. A BIG PLUS to have SmartPlant experience BUT will train the right candidate. A PLUS to have experience in the chemical industry. Need trigonometry & geometry math skills.

Position will provide product support for the SmartPlant including Upgrade and maintaining SmartPlant 3D machines, VB Programming, SQL query creation, troubleshooting program problems, product documentation, developing training material, and Product Configurations.

Generous Salary based on experience and qualifications. VERY LONG contract therefore no relo or per diem.

• Please describe your abilities and experience in building 3D symbols using Visual Basic language and maintaining database and SQL servers and list the industries in which you have experience and confirm your familiarity with trigonometry and geometry math.

• A BIG PLUS: Please rate your proficiency in Smart Plant on a scale of 1 to 10 with 10 high.
