Mechanical Engineer (R&D)

Mechanical Engineer (R&D)
(Singapore - Woodlands)

Responsibilities:
* Responsible for the design of mechanical parts and modules (metal and plastic) for the surveying or construction measurement products
* Conduct analytical mechanical concept study through FMEA knowhow and application
* Participate in development team projects and lead technical discussion with suppliers
* Involve in industrial designs, life cycle activities and innovations
* Invole product and project documentations

Requirements:
* Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent with 3 – 5 years relevant experience
* Knowledge of CAD system such as Unigraphics, IDEA or Solidworks
* Strong in conceptual design experience in related field
* Experience in plastic moulding, mould generation, extrusions, metal casting and machining
* Understanding in geometric dimensional tolerances application
* Familiar with production environment or optical-mechanical design is an added advantage
* Some travelling is required
