Our client, a prominent progressive mining Company has the requirement for a Project Director for a Railway project in East Kalimantan Indonesia.

This is a permanent position based in Jakarta and will have an attractive base salary paid in US$ free of taxes plus normal expatriate benefits for a married or single person.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

* Evaluating and help determine appropriate construction delivery systems and the most cost effective plan and schedule for completing the project
* Overseeing performance of all contractors, vendors and monitoring the progress through project management team.
* Directing and monitoring sub contractors activities
* Identifying contract variations, negotiating minor variations or addition work within the overall scope of works with suppliers and sub contractors

To be considered for the role, you must posses:

* Extensive Experience in Civil Engineering particularly in construction of railway infrastructure
* Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering or an equivalent
* Negotiation and conflict management skills
* Experience in the mining industry will be highly regarded
