Our client is a world class level in the mining and processing of base metals. They seek the services of an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to lead the Electrical Department in terms of business improvement, project delivery, safety, power reticulation and plant reliability. This role in the Ore Processing Department, manages the site electrical equipment and processes in order to achieve and improve both annual and long term production and cost targets in a safe, socially and environmentally responsible manner.
Position requirements:
* Minimum of 5 years post graduate or 10 years post trade certificate experience in similar industrial plant.
* BSc in electrical engineering OR an Advanced Trade Certificate in Engineering
* Experience with CMMS
* Excellent communications skills with both internal and external relationships.
* Ability to plan and achieve required outcomes in tight operational time constraints.
In addition, experience in metalliferous mining maintenance, budgets, front line management, condition monitoring and conveyor systems would be desirable. An attractive salary package will be offered to the successful candidate.
