Commissioning Managers

Our client, AkerSolutions is a leading global provider of engineering and construction services are seeking experienced Commissioning Managers for existing and new projects about to commence.
Responsible for the management of pre-commissioning and commissioning phases of projects, in particular the development of comprehensive commissioning safe practices and procedures, management of all commissioning resources to assure project milestones are met or exceeded, within the project budget.
The roles are responsible for maintaining project objectives while assuring long term operability of the facility for the client’s team. The roles also assure that all AkerSolution’s employees are managed in an efficient manner and assist the project manager in maintaining project budgets and financial performance objectives

Specific duties and responsibilities include but not limited to:

* Review all relevant Project, Construction, Commissioning, Health, Safety and Environmental Management corporate standards and ensure commissioning management plans and procedures adhere to these standards.
* Develop all Commissioning plans, programs and on-site completion schedules
* Manage commissioning activities on a daily basis, including reporting, scheduling, and vendor interface
* Provide technical leadership and guidance within the commissioning project team
* Select and develop appropriate commissioning staff, ensuring commissioning competence
* Implementation and Management of AkerSolution’s Commissioning and Start-up Standards, Procedures and Methodologies

Requisite or (Desired) Qualifications ideally applicants should have:

* Tertiary qualified engineer.
* Post Graduate Management qualifications desirable.
* Minimum of ten (10) years in directing commissioning teams.
* Very Strong leadership and a people oriented outlook with good time management.
* Significant experience within the Construction and Engineering industry required.
