Document Control Manager

Our Client is one of the largest engineering design service firms worldwide, providing engineering, environmental and social expertise to businesses and communities within the Asia-Pacific region and around the globe. Our Client operates with a global network of around 30,000 personnel in 330 locations worldwide and in the Asia-Pacific, it has 18 offices with more than 1,500 professionals.

They now require a Document Control Manager for their North Sydney Head Office.

DUTIES:

* Investigate, recommend, initiate, develop and implement a Document Control Management System for the Client’s entire Australian operation.
* Manage a electronic document management system to manage the receipt, processing and dissemination of project engineering documentation
* Developing work processes and standards and conducting regular audits to check accuracy and consistency of data entered.
* Supervise and train a team of Document Controllers. Train our Client’s Engineering Management teams

JOB KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

* Strong organizational skills and the ability to adapt to changing project requirements
* In depth understanding of the set up and execution of Project Document Control Management Systems
* Experienced in the use of Electronic Document Management Systems
* Good working knowledge of MS Office suite, MS Project and Primavera
* Supervisory experienced essential
* Excellent oral and written communication skills.
