We are privileged to be inviting applications for the senior position of Senior Production Technologist to join the Petroleum Engineering Team, and report to the Production Technology Team Leader in the Brisbane head office. Your primary function in this role is to provide Petroleum and Asset Managers with high level technical expertise in the area of Petroleum Technology, with the main objectives of a) optimising current and future field performance, b) maximising reserve bookings, and c) advising on field development options.

Your key duties will include:

- Optimising production, well and field performance;
- Forecasting Asset production and also estimating decline figures;
- Providing future development opportunities to meet the current and future sales contracts;
- Monitoring and modelling wellbore and network performance and pressures, and analysing this information to enhance production and to contribute to field wide models;
- Supporting the well and field development planning by recommending well placement, stimulations, completions and operation conditions;
- Supporting the Asset continual improvement initiatives by studying and recommending prospective target areas, identifying new technologies and implementing programs to enhance reservoir understanding; and
- Actively supporting Arrow Energy's commitment to occupational health and safety and the environment, including adopting standard safe work practices and procedures in accordance with Arrow Energy's safety policies.

The appointed candidate will possess a Bachelor degree or higher in Engineering or Science and will have a minimum of 8 years experience in the Petroleum Industry (CSG experience will be an advantage). You will have specific petroleum engineering expertise in field development planning, well optimisations, reservoir management studies, well completions and interventions, well testing and nodal analysis. You will also have experience in leading projects through to completion.

Your industry experience will have provided knowledge of other discipline tasks such as operations, drilling, facilities engineering, log analysis, geology and geophysics. The successful applicant will also have a strong appreciation of business parameters, including project economics and business planning. Sound computer skills, expertise in industry standard reservoir, simulation and production engineering software are required, along with a willingness to travel and carry out field work is required. You will be self motivated, with high levels of initiative and adaptability, and you will demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
