Multimillion Design and Construct Project
Work on the Largest Infrastructure Project this Year

Client
Our client is a top tier contractor here in Melbourne about to embark on some of the largest infrastructure projects to take place this year. They are in turn looking for a skilled commercial manager with experience in design and construct projects to join their team and manage all commercial facets of this particular alliance project.

Key Requirements

Civil Engineering Degree
Design/ Construction Experience in a Senior Role
Key Skills in Managing the Interface of all External Stakeholders
Major Civil Infrastructure Projects &
Top End Contractor Experience
Experience in the Delivery of D&C Contracts
The Role
You will be part of the Management team put in place to deliver design solutions for the project from feasibility stage. As Design Manager you will be running a large multi-disciplined team of professionals and advising the client on the best possible project design with strong consideration of their budget and commercial needs. You will provide coordination between the companies design & construction teams and the independent design / client teams, for all civil engineering and structural aspects of the project.

YOU
You must be able to coordinate the design process and the production of all documentation from design conception, project inception through to completion You will have a major input into the project program and must ensure the project can be brought in on time and to budget. You must be able to easily multi task and monitor both project and subcontractor program progress. You will have outstanding communication skills with the ability to manage and coordinate external Consulting / Structural Engineers and the in-house design / site team

A role with such variety and responsibility does not come around to often, especially on a project of this magnitude and importance.
