The award of several large scale projects across the country sees it restructuring the NSW business slightly and looking to employ a Project Director to drive upcoming and current works in the region.

Coming with a tertiary civil engineering background you will need to have been operating at the Senior Project Manager level or above in a top tier environment or be at an Operations Manager level within a mid tier organisation. Either way you will need to be experienced in the delivery of large scale design and construct projects.

You will have the ability to drive multi-disciplined projects to a cost effective and safe conclusion, be able to delegate and successfully manage a large team, have a clear understanding of engineering issues and constructability and demonstrate strong commercial acumen in every decision you make.

Types of projects undertaken by this respected name include a good mix of water, dams, pipeline, power, marine, tunnels and rail and road related works so a background in these areas is key to being considered.

Along with the operational and management side, the role will involve a sustained focus on winning repeat business so you must be comfortable providing an element of business development and working as part of alliance teams where required.

Reporting directly to the Regional Manager this highly autonomous role needs a self motivated individual that will bring a high level of industry credibility due to your long work history and previous major infrastructure delivery.
