Our client, one of Australia's prominent engineering and management companies, is currently going through an exciting period of growth. As a result of this grown they are currently looking for a suitably qualified and experienced Project Director to join their successful team.

Our client offers a series of engineering and management related services including Mining Processing, Maintenance and Planning and Reliability Engineering. Reporting to the General Manager, you will manage the overall project delivery to generate successful results and ensure that client needs are not only met, but exceeded.

Responsibilities

Ensure the quality of output of the allocated project team
Ensure the management and technical competence of the project team in the delivery of the projects and studies is enhanced and developed
Develop and maintain the various project specific procedures, work practices, plans, systems and protocols
Ensure the timeliness and accuracy of the project control (reporting, costs, schedule, trends, change management) in terms of both direct and indirect costs in accordance with the contract and in-house procedures
Develop and maintain sound client relationships.
This is a tremendous opportunity for a Project Director who wants to lead engineering projects worth several hundred million to billion dollar projects. Your proven experience working on large Mining/Oil & Gas Projects in addition to your desire to succeed will assist you greatly in this role.

Responsibilities

Degree qualifications in an Engineering discipline
A minimum of 15 years experience in various aspects of Project Management in the mineral processing and related industries
Exposure managing projects in the excess of AUS $500 million in a Mining/Mineral Processing capacity
Extensive technical background with a broad multi-disciplinary base in mineral processing plant / infrastructure construction.
