A leading mid-tier civil contractor with a history of operating and constructing projects across South East Queensland for both Private and Govt contracts is currently looking to expand its estimating team. With an excellent reputation and over 40 years of experience with projects ranging from $1M to $100M. ..this Civil Contractor is an employer of choice.

At present there is a vacancy for a Senior Structural Estimator, to be successful in your application you will ideally have:

Excellent knowledge of complex concrete civil structures, i.e. Bridges, Dams, Culverts etc.
Local knowledge of the Queensland market and subcontractors will be highly regarded.
Knowledge of Main Road, RTA or Vic Roads specifications.
Ability to identify cost savings and control measures, read drawings, bill of quantities, take offs and variations.
Superior Analytical skills and an ability to communicate with construction and design team.
Tertiary Qualifications in civil engineering or an equivalent.
Experience successfully tendering on large reinforced concrete structures.
