Systech was established in 1991 and is now a top ten quantity surveying and dispute resolution consultancy that employs 500 staff across five continents. We provide specialist Planning, Contract Administration, Quantity Surveying and Claims / Dispute Consultancy solutions to the construction industry and have an immediate need for a suitably qualified and experienced Senior Scheduler to initially join our team based in Houston, Texas before moving to a site location. Ideally, you will be a Cost Engineer / Quantity Surveyor with oil and gas experience, including all aspects of project cost controls, contract administration, and progress measurement for large-scale oil and gas projects.
Experience and responsibilities are likely to include the following:
Offshore oil and gas experience including subsea
Cost analysis and cost control
Preparation of project cashflows
Risk Management
Cost monitoring against budget
Preparing and supporting cost and time claims
Cost forecasting and reporting
P3e / P6 experience ideally Pertmaster
An in-depth understanding of the forensic approach to delay analysis
Experience in the preparation of claim/defence documents would be an advantage but is not essential. You should possess strong commercial acumen and a pragmatic approach to providing solutions. Candidates must be proficient in the use of Primavera software. This challenging position is site based (Nigeria); you will need to be willing to relocate or work rotations from Nigeria. The successful candidate will be educated ideally to degree level or equivalent, have a proven track record on similar projects and be able to work as part of a dynamic, proactive team.
