Our client is looking for a Contract Specialist with African mining industry experience and strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
The primary function of the role is:
Create, negotiate and consummate services contracts
Developing and recommending sourcing strategies
Identification and evaluation of potential suppliers
Supplier and market analysis to develop a stable and competent supply base
Identifying and mitigating supply risks
Preparation of contractual documentation for various service requirements
Resolving disputes with contractors and suppliers
Continual improvement of the contracting process
Document control
Contract reviews
You will be team a player with excellent communication skills. You will have a sound knowledge of current contracting laws, negotiation and project management principles.
