The location

Wagga Wagga is located on the banks of the wonderful Murrumbidgee River. As an established regional centre residents benefit from all the facilities and infrastructure you would find within a larger city yet it offers a more relaxed pace in day to day living. Wagga Wagga is also well located for those seeking a more 'outdoor' lifestyle with easy access to the Snowy Mountains and indeed Griffith, New South Wales' largest wine growing region.

Your role

Working within a Planning, Design and Construction division your role as Project Architect will see you working in a small team reporting to the divisional Director. While forming part of a collaborative team your role will require you to take control of the design and delivery of projects varying in scale and scope. You will interface daily with end users, clients and consultants while also managing the cost and budget of projects as you guide them successfully through to completion.

The role is offered as a two year full time fixed term contract with a 35 hour working week.

Your experience

Your background will have given you exposure to direct liaison with clients or end users and coordination of consultants. Within this you should be able to display previous experience of having successfully managed projects or aspects of projects. An Architectural background is key, however an Architect having made a move into project management will be considered. Given the nature of this role your written and verbal communication skills should be exemplary.
