Geologist - Mine / Resource Geologist in Sydney

Complexity & precision of work presents unique technical challenge in OC Mining

Create and audit models, project manage feasibility studies and drilling studies

Industrial minerals presents a unique challenge for someone used to gold, iron ore or even coal, because of the complexity and precision of the mining.

Expand yourself technically with resource and reserve estimations throughout Australia, South America and SE Asia

Strong belief in in-house and external training, you know Vulcan already, why not learn Xpac, Surpac etc

Create and audit models using Vulcan, project manage feasibility studies and drilling programs

Combination of autonomous and team-based work, with support from the Senior Resource Geologist

Company is on track to take another 3 Engineers / Geologists on this year, opening an opportunity for a Team Lead role in the short term (12-18 months).

4-7 years mine OC mine geology experience in gold or iron ore preferred. Strong Vulcan modeling skills are essential. Geostats a bonus.
