Quality Engineer - Quality/Manufacturing/Product Testing

Location: Columbus, IN, USA
Client located in Columbus, IN is actively looking for an experienced Quality Engineer for a 6+ month contract assignment to assist with implementing procedures for testing product and equipment. No Per diem!

Responsibilities:

-> Implement procedures for testing product and equipment
-> Select testing specifications for new products and ensures testing procedures are in compliance with industry specific standards
-> Document procedures and recommendations for all phases of product testing
-> Will perform first article inspection audits as needed

Requirements:

-> BS Engineering or Technical degree
-> 3 years of Quality Engineering experience in a manufacturing plant
-> APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning) and PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) experience
-> 30% or more travel within the Midwest
-> Inspection Auditing experience
-> Project Mgmt and QA/QC experience
-> Blue print reading and Minitab experience
