Project Engineer - High Voltage/Transmission/Construction

IMMEDIATE NEED near Los Angeles for a Electrical Estimator with previous high voltage electrical estimating and construction experience.

Responsibilities:

-> Support construction crews working in the Los Angeles County area maintain and replace electrical utility infrastructure including wood pole replacement and high voltage apparatus
-> Review proposals, specs, drawings, attend pre bid meetings to determine scope of work and develop estimate
-> Audit completed projects to ensure accurate invoicing, field verify units for accuracy, and conduct unit take - off from Blue Prints
-> Track award Contracts as required - may include pricing extra work items, change orders, credits, procurement of materials, etc

Requirements:

-> Engineering Degree in Electrical, Civil or Structural (preferred)
-> Electrical Estimating, Design or Construction Experience is a plus
-> Position requires up to 50% local driving in Los Angeles area, (vehicle provided)
-> Must understand electrical construction including working with blueprints and OJT
