Construction Manager - Capital Improvement/Military/Engineer

Location: Wilmington, NC, USA
Outstanding Contractual opportunity for a Construction Manager with a CM firm selected as one of the Top 50 Best Small and Medium Companies to Work for in America. This exciting 1-year contract with possible temp-to-perm career opportunity is located in SE North Carolina.

Responsibilities:

-> Tracks and coordinates day-to-day building construction/remodeling activities, including all civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, painting and finishing
-> Assures project stays on-budget and on-time
-> Assures proper industry, federal, state and local standards, practices and procedures, including safety, are followed
-> Properly manages workers and subs
-> Coordinates with federal (client) and company officials as required

Requirements:

-> Must have at least 1 year Capital Improvement project management experience for a Federal Agency, preferably military
-> Minimum of 5 years construction management experience
-> BS degree in an ABET accredited engineering or engineering technology program
-> LEED certification and PMI or equivalent project/construction management training are pluses
-> Military background also a plus

• Clearly describe your minimum of 1 year of Capital Improvement project management experience for a Federal Agency (include companies, dates, and projects).

• Describe your overall 5+ years of construction manager - project manager roles in building projects (include companies, dates, positions assigned, projects, and outcomes).

• List your college degree(s) in an ABET accredited engineering or engineering technology program and your associated industry training, certifications and memberships (i.e. LEEDs certifications, PMI certification, etc.)

• List any military background and any prior BRAC related project construction experience.

• Where do you currently live and why are you interested in this 1-year project in SE North Carolina?
