About the Job

Principal Mining Engineer

Heavy involvement in mine project development in underground coal mines will polish your Mine Planning skills and expand your strategic business understanding.

Direct responsibility for all medium to long term mine planning up to LOM

Optimization of the mineral reserve plans

XPAC technical support - train, troubleshoot and assist site users.

Provide technical leadership to project teams, specifically in the areas of ore reserve estimations, mine design and optimization, equipment selection, mine planning & scheduling and operating capital cost estimation.

Work alongside Senior Management to plan regional growth for the next 5-10 years as well as supporting existing large UG coal mines

Global market leader with a decisive hand in the NSW coal market, often referred to as good people to work for by ex-employees.

10 + years post-Grad Mining Engineering experience with UG Coal mine planning and high level software skills
