Qualifications:
Personal commitment to safety.
5 years MOC management or operations related experience.
Familiarity with codes and regulations generally associated with the oil and gas industry is an asset.
Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with Operations and Technical staff.
Demonstrated problem solving skills.
Excellent organizational skills and independent work habits.
Team player.
Strong computer skills (Microsoft Excel, Access are an asset).
Responsibilities:
This MOC Coordinator position will be responsible for the implementation and Management of the MOC process at the field and operational level.
Specific duties include:
Provide and demonstrate personal Safety leadership in accordance with company's Environment Health and Safety (EH&S) Program.
Provide leadership in establishing a strong Safety culture within the organization, vendors, service providers, and the contractors we engage with.
Work closely with Operations and EH & S staff to implement and manage the MOC process for the generation, approval of changes to safety and operational policies, procedures, practices, etc.
Work closely with project engineers and third party engineering houses to manage the MOC process in the execution of operation small projects via design change notice, MOC, etc.
Work closely with Document Management to ensure Document Management’s MOC process is managed and in compliance.
Provide training to ensure that initiator, reviewer and approver of the MOC understand and comply with the company's MOC Process requirements.
Monitor and provide governance reporting of the effectiveness of the MOC process to the stakeholders.
Reporting would include data on number of MOC generated for the reporting period, Types of MOC, status of MOC, timeliness of closure. Outstanding MOC, etc.
Routinely review and audit internal and third party’s documents to ensure compliance to the MOC process requirements.
Requirements:
Management of Change (MOC) is a part of Asset and Operating Integrity Program (A&OI).
MOC ensures that all changes are recognized, formally reviewed, documented, and approved prior to implementation in order to avoid potential safety or operational problems and to comply with federal and provincial regulations.
