THE ROLE
CCL has been requested by an international oil and gas operating company to provide a Site Project Services Manager to be based in Southern Algeria. One year (renewable) contract, rotation 28/28. Long term single status with good prospects. Camp facilities are of a high standard. Health insurance, including medivac, is provided by CCL. Algerian tax is paid by the Client. This is a long term assignment with good prospects.
THE PERSON
Minimum 15 years previous and recent experience in project services and management of oilfield related engineering, procurement and construction contracts. The successful candidate will report to the Site Manager and will be responsible for management of cost, planning, risk and general commercial matters.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
This is a senior position which requires degree qualified candidates from a recognised university and who must be otherwise eligible for an Algerian Work Permit. Multicultural awareness and previous experience of working in similar desert oilfield situations preferably in Algeria, Tunisia, Libya or Egypt is highly desirable. All nationalities will be considered. Fluent written and spoken English is mandatory and French is highly desirable.
