S.E. Asia. Previous experience in underground mining of at least 5 years with a significant amount in Narrow Veined deposits. Applicants must have ability to design and control implementation of support programs in development and stoping including pillar recovery. The successful applicant will be responsible for the design of programs to assess support criteria for two small structurally complex underground operations and training of local staff. The position will be based in a sizeable city but the bulk of the time spent on the two operations about 2 hours drive away. Accommodation provided on the mine sites is single status all found and transit or small hotel when in the city. The working cycle is 6 days per week and an 8/2 weeks on/off roster from point of hire. The position will be offered on a 1 year renewable contract basis and is to be filled as soon as possible. Previous S.E. Asian experience is preferred.
Australian residency required.
