This household name in the energy industry is one of the world's leading suppliers of power generation technology across the mining, renewable energy, oil and natural gas markets.

Working in conjunction with another power generation giant, this firm is responsible for the development and ongoing maintenance of a new 500MW gas-fired, combined cycle power plant based in Queensland. In order to manage the operations and maintenance interface and to ensure this long term support is completed successfully, they are seeking a Plant Operations Supervisor to join their team.

The main responsibilities of the role of this role will be to review plant engineering documents, P&IDs and assist the start-up engineers during system testing and commissioning. You will also be required to coordinate permit to work applications in accordance to maintenance and isolation procedures and work alongside the client to direct the initial plant start up through to commercial operations.

You will ideally come from an electrical or mechanical trades/engineering background and have extensive experience in the operations and commissioning of combined cycle power plants. You will also hold intermediate level boiler (BI or BA) and turbine operations (TO) tickets.
