Chemical plant in Augusta, GA, needs a hands-on Maintenance Superintendent with an engineering degree and 5 plus years of chemical plant experience. Relocation assistance is available for the right candidate.

Responsibilities:

-> Use your expertise in chemical plant operations and equipment to lead the maintenance and repair efforts of a world class chemical plant
-> Supervise mechanical technicians, instrumentation and electrical technicians, and warehouse personnel
-> Troubleshoot equipment problems and provide solutions
-> Oversee and make sure the preventive maintenance program is followed
-> Prepare and maintain the department budget

Requirements:

-> Bachelors degree in engineering
-> 5 + years in the chemical industry
-> At least 1 to 3 years as a supervisor
-> Working knowledge of regulatory requirements applicable to the chemical industry EPA, OSHA, RCRA, etc
-> Project engineering experience is a big plus
