IMMEDIATE NEED near Los Angeles for an Electrical Engineer with at least 5 years experience to work on electric distribution, transmission, and substation projects.

Responsibilities:

-> Duties include field surveying, job scope development, coordination with CADD process, line layout / routing, substation layout / equipment plan and completion of required design calculations
-> Production of preliminary and final design drawings and documentation
-> Participate in the review of client Requests for Proposal and contribute to the completion of competitive project proposals and bid responses
-> Perform internal technical consulting for communications and power construction business lines

Requirements:

-> Bachelor Degree in Electrical or Power Engineering (required)
-> Experience with the design of substation facilities is a plus
-> EIT (Engineer In Training) status is required, with PE Registration status (considered a plus)
-> Minimum 5 years experience in electrical or power engineering required
-> Experience in the design of electrical transmission and / or distribution is required
